Digital Mental Health Technologies (DMHT): Phase 1 evaluation survey
Call for evidence description
About this survey
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) are seeking feedback on the resources developed through the Wellcome Digital Mental Health Technologies (DMHT) programme.
The resources were developed to support the safe development, regulation, evaluation and use of digital mental health technologies, including mental health apps and other digital tools.
As part of the programme’s Phase 1 process and theory-based outcome evaluation, we are seeking to understand how these resources have been received, accessed and used, and whether they have contributed to changes in understanding, confidence, decision-making and professional practice. The findings will help assess whether Phase 1 outputs are achieving their intended objectives and will inform future MHRA and NICE direction in Phase 2 of the DMHT programme.
Our request
We want to hear from a broad range of people with an interest in digital mental health technologies, including:
- Developers and manufacturers
- Healthcare professionals
- Researchers
- Policymakers and regulators
- People with lived experience of mental health conditions, carers and members of the public
Whether you are familiar with many, some or none of the resources, your feedback will help us understand what is working well, identify areas for improvement, and inform future MHRA and NICE direction in Phase 2 of the DMHT programme.
The survey length will vary depending on your experience, and only questions relevant to you will be shown.
