The Government Actuary’s Department’s first standalone Climate and Sustainability Report sets out our approach to managing climate-related risks and opportunities and building resilience across our operations and advice.
It covers our governance, strategy, risk management, scenario analysis, metrics and targets, as well as progress during 2025-26. It also highlights how our actuarial expertise supports government and the wider public sector to understand climate risks and make informed, resilient decisions.
