     The taxable commodity rate from 1 April 2028 for Natural gas and any other taxable commodity (solid fuels) have been updated, and the rates for electricity main rate will be frozen from April 2028, at the 2027 to 2028 levels has been added.

This measure confirms the Climate Change Levy rates from 1 April 2028.

The rates for:

• gas and solid fuel will be increased by the retail price index
• electricity main rate will be frozen from April 2028, at the 2027 to 2028 levels
• liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will continue to be frozen
